U.S. Women Storm into London Olympics: The U.S. Women's soccer team has qualified for the Summer Olympics in London, defeating four opponents in CONCACAF qualifying by a combined score of 34-0. A 3-0 win over Costa Rica Friday night put them in the Olympics for the fifth time. Tobin Heath, Carli Lloyd and Alex Morgan scored the goals.

I saw the match against Mexico and it was startling how quickly the U.S. overpowered them with two goals. Mexico had no answer on defense and the goalie looked helpless.

Another 4-0 win over Canada makes it 38-0 for the U.S. Incredible final goal by Alex Morgan, who needs some kind of nickname to signify how she destroys opponents.

Hopefully, Ray Hudson will not be coining the nickname for Morgan. Lord knows what he would come up with.

Actually, Ray would probably have to be DQ'ed from that effort. He's already used "gazelle" and "Bernini sculpture" too many times to count.

Talking about the fellas, that is.
