Ravens Hold Off Texans 20-13: The Baltimore Ravens held off the Houston Texans 20-13 in Sunday's AFC divisional round playoff game, advancing to their third conference championship since becoming the Ravens. Houston fell behind 17-3 in the first quarter but did not give up another point until Billy Cundiff kicked a field goal with 2:56 left in the game. The Ravens forced four turnovers, including two interceptions of T.J. Yates.
Pretty much went as planned. Jacoby Jones' punt return debacle early in the game proved crucial, as most probably knew it would. What was going on in his head at that moment, I guess only he will ever know.

The Ravens had no turnovers and no penalties. The offense was ineffective. They only scored when the defense got a turnover, and they didn't have to go the length of the field.

All the same, no turnovers and no penalties is a pretty good recipe, though a hard one to repeat.

I think the Texans would have won that game had Matt Schuab been healthy.

Especially what we saw this weekend. Arguably the 2 best offenses this season have a case of the turnovers and loose. A mediocre offense with no turnovers win. Granted, the Defense of those teams makes a difference.

First time in Ravens franchise history that they had a turnover and penalty free game. Good time for it.
