Jeff Fisher Chooses Rams Over Dolphins: Jeff Fisher, widely expected to reach a deal to become the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, chose the St. Louis Rams instead on Friday. "The process has been lengthy, but for good reasons," Fisher said. "I took a lot of time looking at and exploring in detail the non-economic issues of both clubs." He was 262-142 in seventeen seasons leading the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans and took the team to Super Bowl 0x22. Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports said the choice hinged on Dolphins owner Stephen Ross not giving Fisher more power. He reportedly told Ross, "I've been a head coach for 17 years and 12 of them sucked because I had to fight for what I wanted."

I was hoping the Jaguars would get Fisher. He always coached well in this city (and I hated him for it). The Titans' Super Bowl run was made possible by three wins in Jacksonville -- the only three losses by the Jaguars that season.

How did they win three games in Jacksonville? Did you mean "against Jacksonville"?

Two of them were in Jacksonville.

Yeah, but rcade clearly said that the Titans won three games in Jacksonville.
Hey rcade: just answer yerfatma's question already. What are you scared of? And we better not just get some talking points in return.

I don't recall saying "in Jacksonville." Clearly, I said "against Jacksonville." Stop engaging in negative campaigning.

When did you stop beating in Jacksonville?

Fischer is an excellent coach, I wish he would have stayed out of the NFC West.

I can tell which Super Bowl is coming up by my birthday. My birthday is in February and I am always as old as the current Super Bowl. So I am confused by "Super Bowl 0x22."

I really think the Rams can make huge improvements next season with a healthy Bradford, not losing seven defensive backs right out of camp, and drafting WR Blackmon from Oklahoma State to compliment Brandon Lloyd. Landing Fisher was a nice move.

I see rcade has his SuperPAC working for him in this thread, sending in all different directions to move that Overton window. Well, it won't work! I remain rooted in the cause! #occupyrcade
