Yes! The Buccaneers are wearing their original uniforms today.

I'm so glad my local station is showing the Pats-Clots. I'd hate to miss that drama.

The Buccaneers not only played in their original uniforms, they played like they did when they were an expansion team.

No links yet, but NBC announced during half-time of SNF that Madonna is your half-time show performer for the Super Bowl.

Yeah, I heard. Whose fucking idea was that? Is that the best they could do? Is their "target demographic" of a certain age they wouldn't like some of the current bands that rock today?
I would rather see some in depth stories about the newly minted Hall of Fame inductees.
Book Dimmu Borgir and blow everyone's mind!

MASHED POTATOES!
It's only better than "In the hole!" because it's just so bizarre.

Like who? Rock is so marginalized these days that the Foo Fighters are the only band that gets invited to awards shows -- the rest is pop and hip hop. I'm afraid of who the NFL would pick if they were chasing the youth audience. I'm still not over Fergie's rendition of "Sweet Child O' Mine."

Rock is so marginalized these days...
The Triangle just lost its one and only rock station that played new music as well as classic rock. That's just crazy.

Well, rcade, given my tastes run toward old motown, blues, and a bit of outlaw country, I am at a loss to name a current band that would work. Oh, I know the names, but couldn't tell you what they sound like.
I do like some of the less mainstream groups, as above-Dimmu Borgir, Rammstein, Type O Negative etc, etc. I don't see them getting the call any time soon though.
I never did like Madonna, so maybe I am biased.
Agree with you about Fergie.
