First-year North Texas head coach Dan McCarney has been wearing sunglasses all the time because of vision problems in one eye. Because of this fashion trend, the school's giving sunglasses to the first 3,000 students at this week's game.

You've probably never heard of him, but Basil D'Oliveira was one of the most elegant batsmen of his era, and a living, breathing testament to the evils of apartheid.

I saw him bat in Sydney when I was just a young kid. The conversations with my father and my aunt about him, and his history, opened up my eyes. He's part of the reason I'm doing what I'm doing.

RIP, Dolly.
