He loves him so much he wants as many people to have as many chances to hug him as possible

C'mon folks. What is it with all the non-believers? Tebow is a Heisman Trophy winner from one of the three Sunshine State powerhouses. Is that somehow not good enough for you? How can you not be stoked about his chances?

Have you seen him throw, beaverboard?
Don't get me started naming other Heisman Trophy winners that couldn't play quarterback in the NFL. Oh, you already did . . . Jason White, Matt Leinart, Eric Crouch, Danny Wuerffel, . .
I feel a little bit sorry for Tebow. It isn't his fault that people are hyping him and everything he does. He didn't decide to co-opt praying and name it after himself. He didn't start a campaign to get him as starting QB long, long, long before he is ready. The whole thing is ridiculous and not his fault.

Best quote last week after Tebows win in Miami " God may love Tim Tebow, But if he wasnt all knowing, He would have taken Miami and the points."
Timmy T is a all around great guy. He is perfect for the broadcast booth and will be there soon. Yes he is a tough gritty kid. Yes he tore it up in college and "just wins" Maybe he will figure it out in another year, But his mechanics are poor, and in the NFL, that translates to 18-39 for 172, most of it in garbage time. I would love to see him be good, I just dont think it is in the cards.

The good news is that when Timmy is terrible, it's not his fault.

bperk, I didn't set out to drag those other poor innocent fellas like Leinart from points elsewhere into this.
I was just trying to kick back and groove with the Weinkes and Torettas...
...oh yeah, and the Wuerffels too.
It's an equal opportunity club. FSU, Miami, and UF have all done their part to help line the hallway of the immortals.

First, Fox made it to the Super Bowl with Delhomme, so I think he can clearly do a lot with very little. The idea that he would sabotage his own team is just ridiculous. Second, I get so annoyed by these articles where Tebow's public professions of faith are somehow a higher plane of Christianity than people who keep their relationship with Christ private. It's just wrong.

I almost included Charlie Ward in that list, but after all this time, I'm still pissed that he didn't even get drafted.

Tebow was awful and it's his fault but I wish they'd stop trying to run a conventional offense with an unconventional quarterback. I don't really see a reason why you wouldn't run him out of the spread for the entire game. It's not like the offense could get any more catastrophic.

Also, I find it rather amazing that a guy playing quarterback his entire life and is good enough to get drafted can have footwork that bad.

I suspect Denver have realised they can't do anything this year and certain'y can't do anything with Tebow, but the fans want him so fine, whatever.. here's ten games of Tim Tebow. WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?
When Tebow stinks it up, the whole Bronco hierarchy won't get any fan stick when they cut him in the off-season, go back to Orton as a veteran pair of moderately-talented hands and pick one of the three potentially useful Quarterbacks who might be in next year's draft class.

If I had a man who was prospecting in Colorado, on whom my fortunes greatly depended, and who had said that he was saving himself for marriage...
I'd sure as heck have somebody put a decent bride on the next westbound stage out of Abilene.

Apparently God loves Tim Tebow, he's just not *in love* with him...
