North Texas defeats Indiana 24-21

That's the first win for North Texas over a BCS team since Baylor in 2003.

The game featured a play where a UNT defensive back was on the ground trying to get his shoe on when Indiana quick-snapped, threw to his man and he raced for a long touchdown.

I saw "Moneyball" today.

Excellent movie, and my wife (who has zero interest in baseball) enjoyed it as well.

Deion Sanders is reportedly divorcing the mother of his children for becoming too famous: "Enough is enough. I never signed up for all this. ... If I wanted a model or a television star I would have married one a long time ago. All I wanted was a housewife."

Anyone see the end of Falcons-Bucs game? The Falcons defensive coordinator just exclaimed "oh my fucking God!" after his team was drawn offside by the Bucs on a fourth-down play, clinching the game.

From the link:

UPDATE: Though multiple sources were reporting that Deion Sanders had filed divorce papers with his wife of 11 years, Sanders has taken to Twitter to deny those claims.

I liked Moneyball as well. Though, would it have been a crime to mention they had some pretty good pitchers that year?

I'm sorry, but what universe have I landed in?

The Buffalo Bills are the only undefeated team in the AFC?

They showed Tim Hudson....getting rocked in that pivotal game near the end of the movie.

The movie was going to focus on the hitting, since that's where the A's lost their talent and had to take their chances.

I know it would have dragged the movie out too long, but I would have loved to have seen how the draft would have been portrayed.

Yes. And Detroit is 3-0 also. Could this mean a shuffling of fortunes in the NFL? Will we finally get to see some new teams in the playoffs?

Both AL and NL wild card races features a team slumping in September one game ahead of a smoking hot team going into the last three games of the season. Good times!

Moneyball is coming to Thailand and probably Cambodia soon. If it's good enough for grum, it's good enough for me to shell out my $4 cinema ticket or $1.50 for the pirate DVD, then.

I second Grum's recommendation. It was a very good movie.
