At this point in time, I'm hoping for a 3-way tie for the AL wild card spot.

It really doesn't look like there is any team that really wants to step up and claim it.

By the end of Sunday, it's probable that Boston and Tampa will be tied*, and Los Angeles will only trail by a single game, with 3 to play.

*Boston's next two scheduled pitchers are Wakefield and Lackey.
Lackey has a 6.99 ERA since the start of August.
Wakefield has a 5.12 ERA since the start of August.

Tampa Bay is playing against Toronto, from whom they've taken 13 home series in a row.
