NBA Player Sues Exercise Ball Maker: Francisco Garcia of the Sacramento Kings has sued the maker of an exercise ball he blames for a 2009 weightlifting accident that broke his arm. Garcia was balancing himself on the Stability Ball Gymnic Plus while lifting dumbbells when the ball exploded. The balls were previously marketed with the claim "Gymnic Plus Stability Balls are safe! They will not explode! If punctured, the ball deflates slowly."

Apparently cats unsheath the claws when frightened. Who knew? ... I didn't realize that's how Garcia broke his arm.
You mean Garcia unsheathed his claws because he was frightened too? Now who knew that?!

Do not taunt happy fun ball.
Seriously, he's got a pretty air tight case here.

Also, they're totally not safe for cat excercise. I wanted to see if my friend's cat could balance (/was fucking with the cat) and I ended up with a slowly deflating stability ball. Apparently cats unsheath the claws when frightened. Who knew?
I didn't realize that's how Garcia broke his arm. That's rather terrifying. Going to keep me from doing anything on the stability ball for awhile.
