A comment by Hugh Douglas, who may be the most spectacularly unsuccessful free agent the Jacksonville Jaguars ever signed: "If there was ever a head coach that needs to be punched in the face for not being truthful to his players, it's Jack Del Rio."

Qatar plans to splash a bit of cash for the World Cup'

From the article: Lusail will be built in the East of Qatar, with the football stadium the focal point, 15 km north of Doha. The website set-up for the city - www.lusail.com - states that "the aim is to establish a distinctive 21st century iconic city which celebrates the special cultural and geographical heritage of Qatar and the Gulf Region". It will have a population of 200,000.

Holy crap! That is mind-boggling.

I will be STUNNED if the World Cup actually takes place inside the borders of Qatar.

I think it's more likely their economy collapses and building grinds to a halt, or that the weather issue isn't properly resolved and the players refuse to play.
