Thunder Take Game 2 Over Mavericks: Kevin Durant scored 24 and James Harden 23 as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Dallas Mavericks 106-100 in game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, taking home court advantage back to Oklahoma City with them up Interstate 35. Thunder coach Scott Brooks made the unexpected move of sitting point guard Russell Westbrook the entire fourth quarter.

That was a phenomenal game. Pretty sure it's the first time I've seen Carlisle get out-coached during this year's playoffs. It was a ballsy move by Brooks to sit Westbrook and Ibaka during the 4th and it obviously paid off.

I can't watch the Thunder play without rooting for them. They are such an exciting team to watch. I think I'm on their bandwagon.

I'm curious to see if Westbrook handles it well. Fortunately, Perkins talked to Westbrook and told him it it doesn't matter so long as they win.
