Liverpool eked out a draw at Emirates with a literally last kick penalty in the 101st(!!) minute made by the Premier League's hardest working man, Dirk Kuyt. The extreme injury time came after Jamie Carragher was taken off unconscious early in the 2nd half after colliding with his own fullback and Andy Carroll went off after landing badly on an ankle.

Arsenal were responsible for Fabio Aurellio going off in the first half and he was replaced by 17 year old Jack Robinson, giving Liverpool four teenagers (Robinson, John Flanagan, Jay Spearing and Jonjo Shelvey, who came on for Carroll) on at the end.

Both penalty calls by Andre Marriner were marginal but reasonable. Eboue's tackle of Lucas Leiva was espcially stupid since Lucas was going away from goal with (a) no player wide of him and (b) Marriner likely to blow the final whistle in less than five seconds.

Arsene Wenger was a real wanker afterwards and refused to laugh off the result or shake King Kenny's hand.

That was a freaky ending. I think it's questionable whether Eboue deserved the penalty, but what was he doing challenging the ball so aggressively? Leiva wasn't going to do anything with it in the seconds he had left in the match.

Did you see Dalglish tell Wenger to "Fuck Off"? I don't know that I'd want to shake his hand after that either.

That was a great bitter moment. I'm glad the cameras captured it.

Why should he have laughed off the result?

The game's to be rebroadcast on NESN Tuesday night, of course it'll be opposite Celtics vs Knicks. I'll have to see if wife has left any room on the DVR, or if her soaps have used it all. It sounds like a good one.

He was a real wanker before hand as well;) But yeah, why the heck should he laugh it off?

I didn't see the game and quit frantically looking at updates on my phone when V.Persie hit the pk. Shocked to find out a few minutes later that there was time for another pk to be awarded! As a Gunners fan, damn, that hurt.

He should laugh it off because tomorrow is another game.
