I know this was talked about in yesterdays huddle, but posted my thoughts today about Mario and Cooke
Mario said when asked that the team would make one statement through Ray Shero and thats why he is not answering questions about Cooke. As a Pens fan, I have NO problem with the suspension and am glad the league is trying to make an example. I just hope they stay consistant and dont make Cooke The NHL's James Harrison

Aside from the fact that Harrison is otherwise considered a top defensive player in his sport, they are the same person ... no respect whatsoever for their opponent, favoring blindside and hits to the head over face to face confrontation.
I do get your point: Cooke and Harrison certainly aren't the only offenders in their respective leagues but are the poster cases due to their repeat offenses. Both leagues should continue to punish these players and others for dangerous infractions.
