Kansas City Stadium Gives Name to Livestrong: Kansas City's new $200 million dollar soccer stadium is being named Livestrong Sporting Park, thanks to a donation by the team to Lance Armstrong's cancer charity. Sporting KC (the renamed Kansas City Wizards) start play in the facility June 9. The stadium also will donate a portion of ticket and concession revenues to the charity and ban tobacco products.
Can't believe a city would fund some businessman's plaything.
