Stupid Contract Perks: Rafael Furcal re-upped with the Dodgers because they gave him a totally impractical vehicle.

That's...

Well let's face it, that's awesome. To be wanted so much you can throw out bizarre stuff like that and get it.

OK, so where is the stupid contract perk? That is tremendous!

I agree, that's a cool perk. It's practical and sounds like saving lives in his home town, as is Furcal himself: "[Furcal] is already a one-man health-care plan for Loma de Cabrera, paying the bill of anyone needing hospitalization."

Drives me nuts when kids today to totally selfish, stupid things like this. He'll learn his lesson when they use that thing to actually stop a fire. Then who'll be the smart guy?

No, I read the whole thing, I'm just sick of these pampered millionaire prima donnas thinking they can demand the world every time they get a new contract. Think of the ticket price increase from having to buy a fire engine for every player who wants one. Now players like Pujols will probably demand even more and want an MRI machine or donations to a cancer research fund or some other piece of "bling".
