Hank Aaron's One Regret: "I have to look back over my career and say the only thing I have some regret about is that I did not win a triple crown," Hall of Famer Hank Aaron said in an interview Wednesday. The closest he game was in 1957, when he led the National League with 44 homers and 132 RBI and was fourth with a .322 average (Stan Musial led with .351).
I have nothing substantial to add, but need to write that Hank Aaron is one of my all time heroes.

Hank Aaron is the answer to one of those really weird trivia questions:
"Which player was chosen for more MLB All-Star games than MLB seasons that he played in?"

I've got an autographed photo of Hank Aaron from January 1974 pinned to the wall right next to me.

I was kind of surprised that he seemed to be hinting that the BBWAA would be wrong to deny votes to the likes of Clemens, Bonds, etc. I could have sworn he'd been far less forgiving in past interviews- such that I'd pointed out the hypocrisy of a greenie user decrying PED. Does he still work for the MLB front office? Maybe he doesn't, and no longer feels he has to toe the company line.

Treasure that - though I'm sure you do!
