Taylor leaving is not good news. The rumour that his likely replacement will be David Platt, is however.

David Platt, ugly footballer:

After retiring as a player, he turned to management with Sampdoria, but was not permitted to take up the role due to lack of coaching qualifications. On his return to England, he took the role of player manager at Nottingham Forrest for two seasons, before becoming Englands Under 21 coach."

Very funny. Just a couple of issues though. The "hopeless bloke" is in a Carlsberg ad not a Carling ad. Also, how could you have an award for this season's top moaning managers and leave out the ginger whinger himself? Meggo should win that award by a country mile.
