Will Ed Sabol Make Hall of Fame?: Ed Sabol, the 94-year-old founder of NFL Films, is a finalist the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Since it began in 1964, The company has produced 100 million feet of footage on 9,000-plus games and won nearly 100 Emmys -- reporting on the game with narration described as the "Voice of God." "Take all of the other candidates, stack their accomplishments, and they haven't had the impact on the game that Ed Sabol has," said Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News.

He so needs to be in. I ADORE the NFL Films stuff, despite not being much of a football fan these days. Fantastic films. I wish more sports had a similar thing in place for a lot of their history.
