I started the game cheering for the Packers, but by the end I was pulling for the Bears, just to see previously-unheard-of Hanie get thrust into the spotlight.

Irrespective of the diagnosis, Cutler is going to be labelled "soft" (certainly in the sports radio universe, which should not matter, but unfortunately helps set the agenda) and will have some work to do to rehabilitate his image.

Luckily his image didn't have far to fall.
Packers should have put that game away a lot sooner than they did. It's annoying how safe and complacent they get with a lead at times.

If the Jets win today's AFC championship game, the state of NY is going to get short-changed.
In the traditional state governor's bet on the game, the PA governor offered up fruit jams and wine as his loser's payment.
How they let him get away with that when there's Primanti's and Penn Weizen is beyond me.
In honor of the perceived momentousness and projected stadium temperatures of today's games, I felt compelled to upgrade the clear liquids component of my refreshment options to a distinguished offering from Eastern Europe, distilled from potatoes.
The unit is currently buried in a snowbank awaiting deployment. Thinking about bringing an easy chair and TV outside and watching the action Yeltsin style.
