NFL Fines Favre $50,000 in Sterger Inquiry: Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was fined $50,000 by the NFL for not cooperating with the investigation that he sent inappropriate messages and photos to Jenn Sterger while both worked for the New York Jets in 2008. The fine's equivalent to around 27 hours of Favre's earnings, given his $16 million salary.
