Cowboys Lose After Missed Last-Minute PAT: After being down by 18 points, the Dallas Cowboys rallied to take a last-minute lead over the Arizona Cardinals on Christmas night, but kicker David Buehler missed an extra point and the Cardinals won 27-26 on a 48-yard Jay Feely field goal with 10 seconds left.

How often do NFL kickers just flat miss an extra point? Not a block, not a bad hold, not some penalty pushing the ball back to essentially a field goal attempt; just a flat out miss. That said, Feely's two kicks were great. First, the long field goal to take the lead; but then that kickoff after the 15-year penalty, bouncing along the sideline and then dying right before the goal line? Unbelievable.

I try not to be a hater, but there always seem to be a few in football I just enjoy watching in misery. This weekend I got to see two of my favorite things; Jerry Jones getting whiter and Tom Coughlin getting redder. If Steve Spurrier had just thrown his visor on the ground my day would be complete.
