Debo, no explanation needed. It was a one-in-several-million chance that the ball would land almost exactly on its center of balance with no rotation. I've seen this happen before, but never with the ball hanging for a long as that one did.
Now on another subject: To all of SpoFi Land, I'd like to wish one and all the joys of this holiday season. For some it is a time of celebration, for some contemplation of the year past, and for others it is a time of hope. For me it is a time for thanks for all of the many good things I have received during the year, not the least of which is the chance to be a part of this community. As Drood said, I would welcome the opportunity to hoist a tankard or two with any and all.

So something occurred to me last night.

I'll just be over here weeping at the state of humanity if anyone wants me...
