Are McNabb's Days Numbered?: The Washington Redskins upset the NFL apple cart once again Friday when coach Mike Shanahan announced Rex Grossman as his starter for the rest of the season,McNabb will be the No. 2 quarterback against the Cowboys, then drop to No. 3 behind Grossman and John Beck for the final two games of the season.
Wonder how that new contract is working out.

It looks like the contract is going to work out fine for the Redskins, since they evidently aren't concerned about this year's money.

McNabb must feel like the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL. He got little respect in Philly and none in Washington. Shanahan may be right, but he's a complete asshole for making this such a public humiliation for McNabb and himself.

Whose idea was it in Washington to acquire Donovan?

Everybody's days are numbered.

Probably. His age works against him, he hasn't put up good numbers this year, and Shanahan wants to get the other guys some playing time, since one of them or a highly touted rookie (if the Redskins get one) will most likely be quarterback next season.
Plus, Shanahan doesn't seem too big on McNabb, telling him that he can't guarantee Donovan will be with them next year.
