Texas Rangers reliever Derek Holland wakes up this morning with an infinite ERA in World Series play. I checked on Baseball Reference, and sure enough it reports him as "inf".

The annual Florida-Georgia Liquid Diet Invitational kicks off this afternoon. With both football teams hovering around .500, the main event for those watching the game on TV will be scanning the crowd hoping to catch a glimpse of rcade and his all-Duval bad boy entourage making a public spectacle of themselves.

Allow one or more earned runs without recording an out. Since you technically haven't pitched an inning (or 1/3 of an inning, as it were), your ERA would be infinity...
