Unforgiven: Tony Washington, an NFL prospect, has a black mark on his record. At the age of 16, he was convicted of incest for sleeping with his then 15 year old sister, and forced to register as a sex offender. Washington feels this is the reason he is being ostracized by the NFL. (via MetaFilter).

Fantastic read, and although I am generally a supporter of the police, it's pretty difficult for me not to think Washington and his sister should have gotten counseling, not grilled.

I hope the guy gets a shot in the UFL.

Terrific article; thanks for sharing it. Here's hoping someone gives him a chance. Violent rapists, alleged murderers, dog killers, they all get a free pass in the NFL and in life, so it seems... and this guy isn't able to buy deodorant without his credit card being declined because of a mistake he openly admits to, with remorse and compunction. Incredible.
