Roger Federer's William Tell Shot Goes Viral: After shooting a commercial for Gillette, tennis star Roger Federer twice knocked a bottle off a man's head with a tennis serve, a video that's been shared on YouTube by the company. The video could be phony viral marketing like the water slide stunt, but Federer's web site says it's legit.

no one could be that precise (or that stupid)

Could they?

Nah that website doesn't really say it's legit. It says "amazing trickshot Roger performed". That's an interesting choice of words.

And this is viral marketing at its best.

Fine. Call me a sucker, but I bought it when I first saw it. I'm thinking to myself, "Well he is Roger Federer."

And Swiss!

I mean Nadal couldn't pull that off, not being Swiss and all.

Are you kidding? Nadal can rearrange bottles like no one on earth.

Big deal. I'm renowned for my ability to enter a house and move all of the available bottlery from the fridge to the recycling bin.

JJ - maybe the next Federer/Nadal final should be turned into a target competition - could combine skeet shooting, maybe some kind of biathalon-like event with bikes instead of skis.
