SportSelect has the spreads for this week at:
Montreal spots 51/2 points to the visiting Riders. Same for Edmonton (-5.5) as they host the Argos. Hamilton (-2.5) is slightly favored as the Bombers invade Steeltown. This makes Calgary the only visiting favorite as they give 31/2 points to the Lions.

Schultzie says:
Watch the battle of the running backs in this game. Montreal still wins by 10.
Cleo Lemon is no Ricky Ray. Edmonton by 11.
Steven Jyles has been impressive in consecutive starts, but Arland Bruce III is the shiznit. Hamilton by 1.
A road win to make it three-in-a-row might just be too big a task for the Stamps. BC by 3.

Dammit if I don't think that the Riders can steal this one in la belle province. I think if you look at the lackluster offensive performances by the Riders since the first meeting, you'd have to think that they're due for another smoke show. And I don't see any reason why these teams can't keep the streak of nail-biters alive. Roughriders by 1.
The Argos, even through their struggles in recent years, have posed some problems for Edmonton. With Maciocia out of the picture, I think the EE have exorcised a major demon affecting their winner's psyche. Although I do like to see an improved Argos for the league overall, I like to see a redeemed Edmonton Eskimos even better. Edmonton's D-FENCE has been pretty good too. Think they can walk in this one: EE by 21.
Oh my, this one is a bit of a coin toss, isn't it? The fact that the Bombers have exceeded expectations and the Tabbies seem to be falling short of them, I might have to give the edge to Winnipeg. I don't think AB3 is enough. The Tabbies just haven't been running the football. Blue Bombers by 7.
Goddammit, I hate it I hate it I hate it ... but I think that the Stamps are gonna stay in the fight for first in the west. The Lions are going to take their rightful place alone in the western cellar. May come down to Maver vs. McCallum, but the Stamps will edge the Leos in this one. Stampeders by 6.

Thanks for starting the thread, apoch. This has been a horrendous week in terms of me having free time. Also Monday was a Canadian holiday so I got confused. Also the dog ate my spreadsheet.
I'll get the standings and last week's results up tonight.

Those are terrible picks TBH. Just awful. Good lord, the stench of failure is just rank with you, guy.
Also, I think YYM had some picks posted early, DJE. So, uh... don't forget those picks.

DJE, I know it's kind of late to bring it up, but I sure hope you didn't forget YYM's picks for Week 6.
Apparently, I forgot to use my brain this week. Riders and Esks as winners? What was I thinking???
YUCK!!!
Montreal by 4 and Toronto by 1 in case y'all didn't catch the games.
