The national nightmare is over: the media can stop talking about ARod and not hitting his 600th home run. He got it over with in the first inning of today's game against the Blue Jays.
I can already hear the hack writers cursing, as they delete their existing ARod stories and being forced to think of something original to talk about.

Could we switch to counting to five Atchafalaya instead of five Mississippi at the Huddle?
One less thing to remind me of Minnesota's wallflower QB.
