The Greatest Ultimate Frisbee Catch You've Ever Seen: When the Seattle Sockeye played Boston Ironside at the ultimate flying disc world championships this year, Sockeye Andrew Fleming made an incredible highlight catch. Deadspin's snark brigade notwithstanding, it's a completely bitchin' grab.
Not bad. Full extension. And as an ultimate veteran, I've seen a lot of great catches.
Never made it to Worlds though. *sob*

Sigh. Came in excited at an Ultimate post, left disappointed. Nice grab but how did that get labeled as greatest catch you've seen? Pretty sure its not even the best I've seen from a Sockeye player this year; I like to see the D contest the catch, for example.

I'm all for seeing better Ultimate catches. I just figured that no one has seen any, so Fleming's epic grab was superlative.

I've never played it, nor really ever watched it, but I understand the object is to sleep with the women. That's why it's co-ed. Trust me.
Still, that was cool. I have a friend of a friend who played in the worlds. He is married to what it possibly the most gorgeous women on earth. And of course, he's just perfect - all buff and nice, and, hey, I admit it, even smart. But his wife is sooooo hot, totally girl-next-door with the most killer rack I've ever had the privilege to pretend to not notice at social engagements. She can also cook like the Gods and is a complete angel. She has a three legged dog named scooter or something. The kind of girl who is pretty much perfect and is fun to be with, but when you get home you just feel like a troll by comparison.
Wait - what were we talking about? Right. Frisbee.

Great catch - I wish I could see some Ultimate on telly - that was my fave sport in college

That is, in fact, the only ultimate frisbee catch I've ever seen. And a pretty fucking sweet one it was.
