Rumors already that Martino, who resigned from the Paraguayan team and is Argentinean, will be the next Argentina coach. Sounds like an upgrade to me--and think how young that team is now, in four years will be in their prime.

One argument against James, Wade, and Bosh not teaming up (if the speculation were true).
In a nutshell, they all need the ball too much to be successful. A history of other attempted "dream team" failed attempts puts it in a bit of context.

Except that Bosh I think would be okay being a second banana. He only took 16.5 shots a game last year - by far the least amount among the big three. Only Amare averaged less shots per game in the top ten in scoring. Also, Bosh has only one winning season in his career - so I think he's aware of needing to perhaps sacrifice his totals if he thinks he can win.
But, the wrinkle here is the latest up here is that Bosh is not prepared to outright sign with another team - he wants to do a sign and trade so he can get his sixth year and his extra $30MM. He doesn't have multiple endorsements to compensate for a reduced salary. And if Chicago doesn't want to give up Noah, it will be hard to make that deal. Which leaves Houston (where he has a ton of support and can be the number one option), or Miami - where Beasley and cap-space contracts are available.
Except that Colangelo apparently doesn't want Beasley or cap space.

"[S]omething/anything called Major League Eating must surely be stupid on its face. ... It's just one more cobblestone on the road to hell because it forgot that one cannot fully embrace an essentially silly idea." -- Ray Ratto, who from his mugshot coulda been a contender.

Interesting to note that the Brazil team returned from the World Cup somewhat chaotically, with public scorn, high emotion, and the sacking of Dunga, while Argentina returned calmly and quietly to a sequestered airport with more than a few people lining the roadway begging Maradona to stay on as coach. Quite the contrast.
I'm one of those (the few I guess, from what I can tell) who agrees with Riquelme. Maradona the bobblehead Pavarotti being the Argentine coach is a mockery. That country has to get over its fixation with Maradona and the glory he bestowed upon it that is now a quarter century gone.
