I'm thinking Knicks.

In a sign of the times, the Knicks are using Twitter to update fans about their free agency activities.

First to sign: Drew Gooden with the Bucks.

I'm thinking Bulls. With Bosh. And possibly Joe Johnson. Miami gets Wade and Boozer - or in a complete surprise, Nowitski. Knicks get Rudy Gay and Amare. Poor Knicks fans have waited two years to lose this race.

Or - Wade stays, Bosh goes to Miami in a sign and trade for Beasley and then Lebron has to give Miami some serious thought. In which case Nowitski could be in Chicago.

Exciting, for sure... Stupid Raptors.

5 yrs, 32 million to sign Gooden to a team that already has Ilyasova, Mbah A Moute, and just drafted Larry Sanders. The deal isn't horrible, a bit long maybe, I just don't understand why they felt they needed Gooden.

James would be smart to come play for GSW--as much as they made playing, Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott and others are making much more investing in tech. GSW are apparently getting new ownership, so no more Chris Cohan Curse also. And James will get the endorsement money no matter where he lands.

OK, so James landing here is a fantasy, I admit it.

Focusing on the article itself, I'm curious how Houston could win a championship by landing Chris Bosh, and what makes the Clippers the best place for James.

And I'm also sticking with my original prediction that James will land in New York. It's the only way his stature could soar much higher in the immediate future - ring or no ring. And, for exactly the same reason people speculate he won't go to Miami, he'll never have to hear the phrase, "...he came to a team that already had (insert other high profile franchise name here)..." But rather will hear "...he joined a struggling Knicks team and persuaded (insert other high profile free agent here) to come with him to re-establish New York City as the basketball capital of the world..."
