NBA Finals are three days away, and already I'm laying awake at night thinking about...

One day after losing Kendry Morales to a fractured leg suffered in his walk-off home run celebration, the Angels had another walk-off home run, testing the new policy to celebrate responsibly.

A story from CBS Sports recalls a sadder tale of walk-off suffering. In 2004, San Diego Padres prospect Tagg Bozied hit a walk-off grand slam for Triple-A Portland and snapped the patellar tendon in his knee in half in the home plate leap. He's still toiling in the minors and has yet to get an at-bat in the bigs.

Edmonton, Maui back in baseball mix : The only team in baseball to have had a team blessing before they began their first road trip, the Na Koa Ikaika Maui started out with a 2-3 record in Victoria and then sat in Calgary getting snowed out for four straight days until finally getting in a doubleheader Monday.
