Most Top Golfers Skipping Byron Nelson: Four years after the death of Byron Nelson at age 94, the Dallas golf tournament that bears his name is no longer attracting the best golfers. Only two of the top 20 have showed up this week: Hunter Mahan (No. 17), and Y. E. Yang (19).
Well I guess the only conclusion that makes sense is that Nelson was a tyrant and terrible king, and everyone couldn't wait for him to be dead so they could escape his clutches.
That or some scheduling crap.

The 156-man field includes Briny Baird, who has one top-three finish in five seasons, during which time he has earned more than $11.3 million.
That's some serious doughnuts.
