Falcons want stadium: The president of the Atlanta Falcons said the franchise wants a new open-air stadium by the middle of the decade. Their current home, the Georgia Dome, opened in 1992.
Arthur Blank probably still gets a staff discount at Home Depot.
Sounds like a good spring project Falcons, start building.

If I were the people of Atlanta, I'd be all in favour of this -- so long as Arthur covered the entire cost himself.
Otherwise, go piss up a rope.

Maybe Arthur thinks it will help the Falcons. Something has to.

Hey, we broke the hex of never, ever, in the history of Man's Endeavors in This Particular Universe having had back to back winning seasons, last year. We're on a roll, and the rest of the NFL had better just, uh, like maybe look out or something.

Whoever builds a new facility needs to provide sworn documentation that whatever they build will not be as ugly on the outside as the Georgia Dome.
The Dome is one ugly building. It's own momma don't even love it.
