Om nom nom oof!
Maybe it's just the caffeine, but that strikes me as very very very funny.

I'm still wondering how the refs didn't call a penalty on Murray's hit on Franzen last night. The officiating all series was questionable.
That said, other than Jimmy Howard none of the Wings put forth a performance worthy of pushing the series to a sixth game. If Howard had played like he had the rest of the series it would have been much more than a one goal game. The Sharks outhustled and outplayed the Wings in game five plain and simple.
If Nabakov can stay solid I think the Sharks have a solid chance at finally shaking the choker label.

I found officiating for the whole Wings-Sharks series to be pretty bad. A fair number of questionable calls against both teams and some no-calls like that one. That's not to say the Wings would have won- the Sharks outplayed the Wings regardless.

One last thing about Jamie Moyer:
Jamie Moyer played with Harold Baines for the 1994 Baltimore Orioles.
Harold Baines played with Minnie Minoso for the 1980 Chicago White Sox.
Minnie Minoso played with Phil Cavarretta for the 1955 Chicago White Sox.
Phil Cavarretta played with Charlie Grimm for the 1936 Chicago Cubs.
Charlie Grimm played with Red Ames for the 1918 St. Louis Cardinals.
Red Ames played with Jim O'Rourke for the 1904 New York Giants.
Jim O'Rourke played with Ezra Sutton for the 1878 Boston Red Caps.
And Sutton played on the 1871 Cleveland Forest Citys...who played in the very first pro league game ever.
