Rams Drop Bulger, May Draft Bradford: The St. Louis Rams have released quarterback Marc Bulger, a move that's leading to speculation that it will take Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Sam Bradford with the first overall pick. Bulger, a two-time Pro Bowler, played eight seasons with the Rams, leading the team to the divisional round of the NFC playoffs in 2004 and 2005.
The GM is talking about how this doesn't mean Bradford is coming in, but that sounds like posturing in case another team is dying to trade up.

Let's hope the Rams figure a way to protect Bradford better than they did Bulger or he'll get to know the injury list very well.
