Butler Did It : The Bulldogs reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament for the first time, coming from behind with an 11-0 run to beat Syracuse 63-59 in a West Regional semifinal Thursday night. No. 5 seed Butler (31-4) will take a school-record 23-game winning streak into Saturday's final against No. 2 seed Kansas State (29-7). A victory would send the Bulldogs to a Final Four at Lucas Oil Stadium, seven miles from their campus.

Great game for Butler but that was a horrible start to the game as Syracuse found new and creative ways to the turn the ball over again and again and again.

Xavier vs. Kansas St. I just finished watching the replay of the game. Incredelicious!
Those kids were sick with it.

Syracuse is practically from the same mold as Georgetown. Very talented but not too smart on the court. Some of their decision-making in the second half was pathetic. Poor shot selection, turnovers, etc. On the flip side, Butler's players looked absolutely petrified at the free throw line late in the game (including a seldom-seen air ball from the line). That doesn't bode well for them.

I think that Alex Hermann's perfect bracket was wrecked by Butler last night.
If so, surprising that he would pick against an Indiana school.
