That looks awesome. You going?

Neat. Hopefully more venues such as this can be built in America.

Best headline of the day.
Indians' Wood out with muscle strain
Sounds painful, and how'd the whole team get it???

I may be the only person in the US watching Real Madrid-Sporting Gijon on ESPN right now, but that was a beautiful goal that just happened there to put Sporting up 1-0. At the Bernabeu, no less.
However, as I type this, Madrid equalize on a blatant handball by van der Vaart. That was the type of handball that both your grandmother and Howard Webb would have caught.
And edit: okay, that one was legit. Good gracious. Real 2-1 Sporting.

Yes, I went. Still can't believe that stadium is ours. I will post picture tomorrow.

It was on in at least 2 bars in Portsmouth, NH yesterday, so you weren't completely alone.

I was watching (having DVR'ed it) the A-League Grand Finals. Sydney FC on penalties, woot! (For the uninformed our puppy is named Sydney and when we get his pal in the next year or so the name will be Melbourne).
IAC, those two teams played pretty decent football, better for sure than most MLS games I've seen in recent years.

Thanks, we're pretty happy down here, too. I took the boy to the preliminary final last week against Wellington, but getting to Melbourne this weekend was beyond me, as I'd already gone down in January for the tennis.
Wasn't a great game, but effective, as Sydney managed to nullify Melbourne's playmakers. Did I mention that Kevin Muscat is a wanker?

Muscat is entertaining for a neutral, owlie. Though I agree he'd do better to shut it. Archie Thompson going off in the 14th minute was killer for Melbourne, I think, but when Payne missed the sitter, well, PKs were clearly on the card.

It's Christmas morning for soccer fans in the Greater NY Metropolitan Area. And this is our present.
