Clint Dempsey looks to be facing a long spell on the sideline after injuring his knee. Should know by Tuesday whether this spells the end of his season and/or his World Cup chances. Would be a huge blow to the U.S. if he is lost for the tournament; frankly, it's going to be a big loss if he has any kind of significant layoff considering his recent (excellent) form. Here's a recent screamer he scored, in case you had not seen it.

Has there been any news on Gooch's injury? Losing either one or both of these guys would be a serious blow to US soccer this summer.

To shift gears a bit, here's another article about fans behaving badly. Considering the game situation, you could certainly say this may have cost JMU the game.

I didn't know there was a clinic like that in Mississippi.

Hopefully, the staff doesn't begin the treatment program by teaching the patients to spell the name of the state.
