Southern Indiana Basketball Player Dies from Game Injury: Jeron Lewis, a 21-year-old center for the University of Southern Indiana, died Thursday night, possibly from a head injury suffered during a game against Kentucky Wesleyan College. While playing defense after a rebound, Lewis tripped after his feet became tangled and he hit his head, according to one account. Another suggested that he collapsed. He died later at a hospital. Lewis led the state in rebounding as a high school senior and recently celebrated the birth of his first child. More details from the Evansville Courier & Press.

This video shows him lying prone on the court as paramedics tend to him, but I couldn't find anything showing the play in question. The autopsy could be a high priority when you consider the recent light being shined on head injuries in sports lately.
RIP Jeron. Prayers go out to your family.
