If the Gators play it conservative against Florida State today, that may be their way of saying that they like the idea of keeping Bowden right where he is, don't change a thing in Tallahassee.

Ok, I'm a big dallas cowboys fan and I just got off the dallascowboys.com website. I was reading all of the fan's comments and it just reminded me about the past couple of years how good we looked in november. Apparently I'm the only Cowboy fan that remembers that we've looked good in Nov but tanked it in Dec. Since that mediocre start we have beat Chiefs, Falcons, Seahawks, a slumping Eagles team at the time, Redskins and a Raider team who just got through beating a really good Cincy team, so the raiders didn't care about this game they were still drunk from celebrating last week end. Its just really hard to buy into this team this year with the December schedule going to New York Giants, to Redskins, to Saints and home games against Chargers and Eagles. Sounds like a tough December schedule for a team who seasonly sucks around the holidays. If the Cowboys can turn this into a good December, this could be one of those end of season schedules that can make a team. They are going to have to grind out some games ugly like the steelers did last year.

Oh well, I guess we'll find out soon enough what this team is all about.

Jamie Moyer is apparently having a tough time with groin surgery he had following the post-season, needing more surgery to prevent a blood infection. All the best to the ageless wonder.

Bud Selig may be calling it a career after the 2012 season, despite reports that at least five owners have asked him to stay on.

Avram Grant sure picked the wrong week to give up smoking take up the reins at Portsmouth, very surprised he didn't let Paul Hart take the one more debacle on his sheet.
