The Chilean National team appear to be cleared to play in South Africa next year after resolving a dispute with one of their league teams. FIFA had threatened to ban them from the World Cup Finals if a resolution couldn't be reached before next week's draw.

Press Release from Carlton the Bear

If I was the press relations intern writing that attempt at comedy, I'd be seriously considering another career. It's God awful.

I thought Carlton was Rhoda's doorman?

I don't mean it in the "hey kid, you got no talent" way. I mean it in the "....you want me to write WHAT?" way. I'd imagine four years of college and student loans to make 15 bucks an hour writing corny press releases for a dancing bear is probably going to look bad at the 10 year reunion.

You missed my attempt (weak I suppose) at humour. I was trying to indicate that Carlton the Bear (an actual bear, not a human inside a costume) had written the press release. I was inferring that it was a fairly funny piece, (considering it was written by a bear).

Sigh......it's been a long week.

I got it (and you were funny), I just put myself in the shoes of the intern *helping him* write it (I'm sure he could only mash the keyboard, someone had to clean it up for him!) and felt a little sorry for them. Well, kinda.
