No more Mr Nice Guy. England skipper Andrew Strauss toughens up, and refuses to allow a runner for his South African counterpart.

I'm with Ian Healy's comment to Ranatunga on that one.

Josh McDaniels is so excited about this that he's been calling the Bears, trying to get them to look into trading Cutler for Kolb.
Kolb is a commodity now, which the Eagles can use to upgrade somewhere else. Or they can trade Vick. Or they could trade McNabb. It's a great situation to be in; three quarterbacks with varying degrees of risk and reward which will probably leave teams like Oakland clamoring to get at one.

Or they can trade Vick.
I think that's their real plan. Put him in a few plays a game and if it turns out he can go the season without getting injured or doing anything stupid, they'll be able to get something out of trading him.

That's the first thing I thought of, too.

Another football weekend, another three plus turnovers by Jake Delhomme.

Tirico, Gruden and Jaworski are a solid announcing team. Gruden's head and shoulders above Kornheiser as a color commentator.

We now know what Andy Reid was thinking.
Michael Vick was just a smokescreen. The real reason the Eagles signed him was to create a diversion so that Reid could secretly unleash Kevin Kolb and turn him loose on the rest of the league before any of the other teams knew what hit them.

Attempting to trade for a backup QB who has turned into an offensive machine and moving Cutler has worked out well for McDaniels thus far. Those clueless, disorganized, dysfunctional Broncos are 3-0.
