Henderson and Rice are Hall of Famers: Ricky made first ballot and Jim made it in his final year of eligibility. Didn't Rice replace Yaz?

I would have lobbied against Henderson in the HOF if I had known we were getting a humbled Henderson. Rickey is happy to announce that Rickey is officially the greatest of all time.

Yea, he was a third person kind of guy, wasn't he? But man, he sure could run the bases.

Rickey doesn't speak in the third party. Rickey always knew Rickey belonged in the Hall. Rickey just had to finally stop playing to get in. Rickey loves Coopertown.

Good article with Rickey where he talks about the third person thing.

Ricky is a humbled Ricky. Bdaddy appreciates that Ricky is reformed.

Rickey doesn't speak in the third party.

I thought you mistyped that, but that's apparently how he refers to it. Ricky is definitely unique.

Rickey knows that Rickey is a millionaire.

"The most famous story people have me talk about is about signing a contract with the A's for a million dollars and a bonus for a million dollars. Instead of me going to the bank and cashing it, I decided to hang it on the wall. Each and every day I passed by it and I reminded myself I'm a millionaire now."

And, we wonder why so many athletes run into financial problems.

bdaddy, I also love the fact that Rickey refers to it as "Coopertown".

So should they all hang their first million dollar check instead?

Good point. If Antoine Walker had done that, he'd still have a rainy day fund. Now that Lenny Dykstra's out of business, maybe I'll invest with Rickey.
