NHL Confidence Pool - Playoff edition: Just an update of the standings thus far. Good luck heading into the finals.
Yes, it is 32 points instead of 16. The default setting on Project Confidence is two points for a win. I think BoKnows mentioned that he forgot to change that. It was set up that way so that pools that could have tied games (such as tournaments with round robin play) then you could get single points for the games a team tied and double points for games that a team won.

That explains why I'm sucking like the Yankees, then.

Are the numbers here goofy? Is it 16 points for the top team picked or 32?
MrFrisby got it right. When I re-started the confidence pool, I was already quite a few games behind. So after entering all the games past and all the member picks - one by one - I just simply overlooked the scoring structure. So, as it is, 2 points for a win. Ex: Detroit and 16 points = 32 points per win. Still works out the same, just bigger numbers at the end.

You wouldn't be saying that if you'd picked the Sharks and Flyers.

Rumple's got it won. I can still pull out second place though (I think).

Are the numbers here goofy? Is it 16 points for the top team picked or 32? Based on these standings and point totals, it appears that the top teams picked are getting 32 points per victory. For example, I have the Red Wings as my top pick, and they have amassed 384 points for me -- which is 32 points per win x 12 wins. Either way, congrats to rumple, as I think that lead is insurmountable.
