That's a Bad Call: What do you do if the referee ejects you from the match? You punch him in the face, that's what. Video of event.
To loosely quote Jim Rome, "He looked as though he was put down by sniper fire."

This is a tragedy. I hope that the deceased players family will be able to live with the coaches suspension as a sufficient punishment.
It's too bad he has forgone the mortal coil. He would have had a promising career in the NBA if the futbol thing didn't work out.

Woody Hayes would be proud.
Hitting official was pretty stupid. The flop was Academy Award level stuff.

That video belongs on American's Funniest Home Videos. Maybe the 10k first prize can make up for his lost salary.

First thing I thought of when I saw the video was Woody Hayes, too. When you're old enough that the folks that used to call you "mean", start callin' you "cranky", you should stick with the barking and give up on the biting.
Unfortunately this advice comes from first-hand experience.

Forget the year suspension. That coach should be prosecuted for murder after killing that player with his shoulder. Surely the player must have died after falling to the ground in such agony.
