You're next gspm! What the hell am I doing this high in the table anyways?

posted by YukonGold at 04:19 PM on March 02, 2008

fine. whatever. good weeks all around. I don't want good weeks all around, I want to compete. What line-up should I use to get the 400 point week that I need? En Fuego, I'm coming after you!

Two crappy weeks in a row (27 and 28). Sigh.

56 points and I still go backwards. And I'm going even worse this week. I curse Imperial Lord Ferg's rotation policy. But, funny how it works for Man U, but not for Liverpool.

I hope Torres pulls the cat out of the bag on Wednesday or I'll have made a very, very stupid double transfer unbalancing my team for no reason. He was bloody hopeless against Bolton. Irony was is that I was going to ignore the Liverpool double gameweek and swap idiot Petrov for Cahill but got greedy. Will I never learn?

I moved up a spot! Red box near the bottom of the table!

After all my cheerleading for rcade, he throws a 23. Dude. I put this skirt on and learned all these snazzy routines, and this is the thanks I get?

posted by chicobangs at 09:43 AM on March 03, 2008

Go Torres!

posted by YukonGold at 05:47 PM on March 03, 2008

Talk about going backwards each week. I picked the wrong weeks to have Adebayor as my captain.

Ask Spofi (Europe-edition): Why is this offensive? Because of the harshness of the crime in question? Advance apologies if I just have no clue

I think the idea was that Cahill was using the goal as a tribute to his brother who permanently (half-)blinded someone. Admittedly such a TD celebration would be seen as understated in the US, but you know what a classy town Liverpool is.

Or what a classy country Australia is. (*Insert your own convict gag here*)

Fookin' Torres. Ah, I love ya, Fernando, but you have completely ruined my fantasy season now.

posted by worldcup2002 at 11:36 PM on March 05, 2008

Fernando my son, I owe you a pint.

The little bastard pushed me up to 11th place. I'm going to feel awful when I dump him in a week or two.

posted by yerfatma at 07:07 AM on March 06, 2008

I love Fernando. I don't care who know! And am in a triangle with StevieG, who spotted me 34 points this game week to move back into the top 10.

This is truly one of those weeks where I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

posted by worldcup2002 at 03:52 PM on March 06, 2008

Really? You should cry.
