Thanks to the byweek we're all bunched up, maybe the return to a full slate of games for Labour Day weekend will break things up.

I'd give a breakdown of the games, but I obviously have no idea. Labour Day WEEK 10 Montreal @ B.C. (Friday, August 31) Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan (Sunday, September 2) Toronto @ Hamilton (Monday, September 3) Edmonton @ Calgary (Monday, September 3) Good luck!

I was one of the recipients of Dr John's music in the great SpoFi CD swap. BC by 9. There was plenty of Canadian flavour. Saskatchewan by 12. A bit of nerdrock, a bit of indie. Toronto by 3. Even some sports related music. Edmonton by 13. But no Stompin' Tom?

Do these comments look borked to everyone or just me?

I'm pretty sure it's something in the table throwing everything off. I think. I'm not sure what I did wrong so hopefully someone with skill can come along and fix it.

I think that this is the toughest week to pick so far this season. Als @ BC ... tough pick. Winnie in Riderville, possibly a Grey Cup preview. TO in the Hammer. I still think that the Ticats are due. And the Labour Day matchup in Calgary. I don't know of a more intense rivalry. It's always anyone's game! All that said, I think I'm gonna have to mull this one over for another day or two. I'd like to be on the upside of the shakedown that just might happen in the log-jam for third.

Okay, since I'm not an NBA referee, an NFL player, nor a hockey great's wife, it's okay for me to be associated with gambling/gamblers. Therefore, I'm using SportSelect as my reference this week: I'll take the Lions to win and cover handily. BC by 20. In the second, I'm looking for the Riders to squeak out a win but still cover. Saskatchewan by 6. Out in the Hammer, we've got an upset in the making. Ticats to win (by 12). And to round out the week, the EE are gonna steal one in Cowtown and look good doin' it. Edmonton by 30. Let's hope y'all can call me a cheater come Monday!

"Okay Devious, don't move!" "THE BISHOP!"

Highlight of the Labour Day Classic so far: Michael Bishop, after that wicked hit which pushed him out of bounds, hopping to his feet and chatting up the teenaged junior cheerleaders. Classic!

0-2 in the Labour Day matchups. OUCH! So much for bein' a cheater!?!?
