Spofi EPL fantasy footie: Week 27 update. A relaxed schedule in February leaves EPL players plenty of time to practice their golf swing.

I am still not kicking ass It's you, me, yerfatma, Tex and chico in a private battle for mid table mediocrity. May the most average man win!

I see you trying to steal a run on me, owlhouse. Sneaky!

I should make less transfers. But then again my players could help me by not getting fecking injured every week. This week's celebrity cripple - Chris bloody Kirkland. This season has been nightmarish.

May the most average man win! I thought we agreed, 0-0, our motto was "May the most average person neither win nor lose." Your exclamation point is unsettling and over the top.

I've been away from all my fantasy stuff for the last month, and it's really showing. Fucking need to make a living.

Yeah, Chico. I remember when we used to hang out together on the corner of tenth and ninth all the time. But now... now... you like those average boys!

We're non-threatening. Unless you find that unsettling.

I'm totally mailing it in this week. Has anyone ever been worst one week and best the next? It's my new goal.

I have complete confidence you'll get at least halfway there.

You know there's a real battle for averageness when you're number 2 in the form table but only move up 5 spots. I'm just happy to be out of the bottom half. Now if I can keep half my bottom from dropping I should be fine.

yerfatma, you're cracking me up. Unfortunately, that messes up the curve for the rest of us.

Did anyone happen to see Beckham's performance v Bayern Munich on Tuesday? I've never really cared for Beckham, but my god, that boy played his socks off against Munich, setting up all 3 goals. I've never seen him play that well....not even close.

After a grand total of 5 points from Saturday's games, I am now out of contention even for mid table mediocity. Teach me for using that damn exclamation mark.

What do we do after you're in my rear-view next week? Do I still need to balance things?

OK, in gameweek 28 the player I brought in to replace an injured player got injured before the bloody match even started. I give up.

squealy, you are now officially required to post your team in the locker room by 2400 GMT each Friday. The rest of us need to know who the hell not to buy.

I was thinking of bringing in Henry. Seeing as he's already carrying a niggling foot injury he should suit my team perfectly.

Thanks for the pointer re: Henry. Of course, it doesn't really matter because I can't afford him. Thank you, expensive Frenchman!
