Spofi EPL FFL: Les Mis.
I had four players (including two subs) out injured so I ended up only being able to sub in one (because of the minimum three defenders rule) leaving me with two empty slots ... oh never mind. I totally sucked this week.

otoh, this screwy week caused some tightening between tiers. Here's my ~30+ pts "tier analysis" (tiers = subgroups within the table that are likeliest to have the most mobility among teams): Tier 1: #1-5 has a spread of only 28pts! Tier 2: #6-12 has a spread of 28pts Tier 3: #13-22 has a spread of 38pts Tier 4: #23-31 has a spread of 26pts Tier 5: #32-35 has a spread of 12pts and then there's #36, who is 56pts off the pace (if you can call being 2nd last, setting the "pace"). Note: This week, what appears to be a zombie (auto-pilot) team (#34 This is Anfield) is our highest scorer. The high score of 63 beat our league average by 26+pts.

Horrible week for me. But there is still plenty of time for all my players to get together and launch a stunning comeback. I just have to have faith in them ;)

An off week for my team as well, but as long as I continue to score more than squealy and gspm, I'll be just fine.

Regained my footing after free-falling the past three weeks. The whole captain choice thing really makes this game frustrating sometimes.

Yeah, because aside from that, it's a friggin' cakewalk. Heh.

Sorry if that sounded bad. Its just every time I switch the captaincy away from Lampard (a trend carrying over from last season) he scores huge, so I'm reluctant to move the C, but then sit and watch as he puts up a doubled-2.

Oh, I know. I thought I was set by moving my C between Gerrard and Terry depending on who was playing the creampuff team on a given week, but that doesn't seem to be working so well. (Laugh it up, FFL vets. We're learning on the fly here.)

Monday Morning Managers. Of course you should have moved the armband to the highest scoring player. Simple, really. But I just can't bring myself to make someone like Gareth Barry captain. Chico's method is as good as any I've heard. But then again I also consult runes, throw the I Ching and channel the spirit of Raich Carter. None of which works, obviously.

owlhouse, your method seems to be working better than mine. Which isn't saying much. OK, I'll make yet another bold claim: This week, I move into the top 10. I'll probably be wrong again, but I'm betting on if I say it often enough...

The captain thing. I try not to think about it too much. I have both Lampard and Henry. And Henry holds the armband every week he plays. He has the greater upside.

Oooh, look at the pretty color on my name! If only I knew what it meant...or what the hell I'm doing, for that matter. You can't tell this is my first experience with EPL, can you?

I used to live there. It's kinda musty and the neighbors aren't very nice, but it's nothing nine pints can't soothe.
